ME Libraries gives you access to free Alberta-wide public library borrowing! When you sign up online, you'll be able to visit libraries across the province and borrow materials--using your local library card! All materials are picked up at the owning library but you can return them to any ME library. ME Libraries only work with physical materials, so online resources and interlibrary loan services are not included. Who can sign up? Adults (18+) with a local library card in good standing and with an email address on the account. Get started today!

Monetary Donations

Alberta Beach Library gratefully accepts donations. Charitable tax receipts are issued for any monetary donations over $10.

In-person: Our Customer Services desk will be happy to accept your donation. Leave us your full name and address and we will mail you a tax-deductible receipt for any donation of $10.00 or more.

By mail: You can mail a cheque to Alberta Beach Library, Box 186, 4815 50 Ave., Alberta Beach, AB, T0E 0A0. Please include a note if you have any special instructions.

Online: We make it easy to give through our Canada Helps page

E-transfers are also accepted by emailing ablibrary@yrl.ab.ca

Library Material Donations

We also accept gently used books and DVDs to add to our collection or to include in our ongoing book/video sales. The funds raised from these sales go towards purchases of new collection materials and for programming activities at the library. We reserve the right to decline any donations (we are unable to accept encyclopedias, National Geographics, and old (mildewed) books).
