Summer Reading Program

We are once again offering a summer reading program for children aged 5 to 12.  The theme this year is “Destination Jungle″ and is all about the rainforest and the many delights to be found there.  Children will have fun while keeping up their reading skills.  Sessions will run on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30, starting July 7 (last session will be on August 11).  Many prizes are available to be won. Drop-ins welcome.

Tumble Books

TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they’ll love. There are many popular, well-known authors featured and children can listen to the books being read or can read on their own. There are puzzles and quizzes available on the site.
